The Alliance Française Abu Dhabi launches its 2019 cycle of conferences “Les Entretiens de la Terrasse”!
On this occasion, we have the honor to welcome Jean Liardon, co-author of the bestselling book « Voir un ami voler. Les dernières années de Jacques Brel ».
Jean Liardon tells his life and friendship with Jacques Brel, a famous singer, poet, producer and Belgian actor, from the time he decided to leave the scene at the zenith of success until his untimely death in 1978.
The conference is part of the “Nuit de la lecture 2019”, organized by the French Ministry of Culture. It will be followed by a cocktail and a signing session, during this time people will discuss with Jean Liardon and learn more about Jacques Brel.
